There's something wrong with them - they leave a distinct aftertaste that transfers from the material to the ice cube. The trays have a distinct odor, even after cleaning.

When filling, water runs slightly over the sides. If the shells are stacked on top of each other, they will freeze. The sides of the dice are not bevelled, making the dice very difficult to remove. The shape might be good for a topic of conversation, but other than that, I'm looking for the best design.

It's better to put on ski gloves or freeze your fingers! Most blocks of ice have to be pushed individually from below. A flexible "tray" is required for filling, which fits on a flat tray or cutting board to minimize spillage when pouring from a cup. At least this model has a small rim to reduce spillage. Not worth the price!

I wanted easy to use silicone ice cube molds that are flexible and allow you to make a large number of ice cubes. I am very happy with this purchase. These cubes are perfect for drinks when you don't want ice taking up too much space in your glass. I don't have to strain to get the ice cubes out and they are always ready to use. :)

Making Ice Cubes Hard to get, weird and impatient. It might last a full minute, oh so long. it's rubber, you just bend them and they come out halfway and then you grab your finger and they fall out quickly. I like the shape too, it was worth it. I make both trays and then transfer the ice to another container so you can THEN quickly pour it into whatever drink you want.
