Umm didn't work for any of the 3 adults in this house - hard to get hold of - put the food in the fridge and two hours later the lid came off. I tried the next larger size - after two hours the lid flew off. Thanks, but no, we only use old meat containers here.

I love it! You can put them right on top of the fruit — I keep a small one in the fridge now that seals half a lemon and a big one that seals 1/4 of a watermelon — over bowls of leftovers, whatever. Works better for me than plastic wrap ever did. If you try to put them on an object with a damp surface, they won't stick as easily. It is recommended to dry the rim of the jar or bowl before attaching the silicone lid/sleeve. Good and easy to clean in the dishwasher.

I only used the 2 largest lids and they were a little difficult to put on. I think because of my small hands/fingers. But sometimes they work great! You can even squeeze the air out. Make sure the lid and bowl are completely dry as I tried to put the lid back on the bowl after taking it out of the fridge and a little bit of condensation caused it to slide off. Much better than wasting plastic wrap! And very easy to clean.

Since purchasing the lids we have been using them to cover mugs, jars and open aluminum cans. We like that they seal and cut with plastic wrap, although you do need to make sure the contact surfaces are dry of water or other liquids. So far, they have sealed the holes in the form of circles and squares with a real seal every time. They also come in a variety of sizes.
