I’m pretty happy with this film now that it’s been up for a week. I purchased the silver/black. My main purpose was to make it so no one could see in my house during the day after my inbred, white trash neighbors broke into my house.I was pleasantly surprised with the heat blocking effect it had during the day. I live in a gated community so this purchase was mainly for privacy. I can't really speak so much for heat control simply because I do not have thermometer to actually measure the amount of heat coming through the film, however, I do believe this film helps keeping heat out. This was easy to install and my imperfections are due to user error. I should have waited for help. I thought I did a pretty good job. then it got dark. Any bubbles will be noticeable at night. I decided to live with it, but easily could have made adjustments. Initially the rooms felt dark, but you quickly get used to it. On initial install I thought this product was garbage, but after a few days some of the bubbles evaporated away and the finish came out more smooth and even. The finish isn't perfect and has some small imperfections, but not noticeable from a distance or someone without REALLY looking.Install was tricky at first, but went faster and easier as I went.Some install tips :1. I tried this window film on my kitchen window which gets the direct sun in the afternoon and evenings during the summer and there is always a noticeable temperature difference in the room as a result, even when the central air is running. I was pleasantly surprised with the heat deflection of this film as I could definitely feel a difference, even with the direct sun and outside temperatures reaching into the upper 80's to low 90's.

Easy to put on the windows! I just cleaned my window, used a paper towel to leave water on it and applied. I don’t like how easily the tint scratched up when I was getting the bubbles out however! If you leave ANY air bubbles you can definitely see them on the reflective side and I am not a perfectionist soooo there are a lot! With that being said I am probably going to buy more for my office window!

The tools they sell along with the film will scratch the film on install so you have to reapply the protect That's my review.

Item easy to work with. Installation is simple not too messy and the final result is suppressively pleasant. A cheap and fun solution for a living room turning into a little inferno. Now is a bluish veranda. Nice product at a very affordable price.
