Good workmanship, very satisfied in this regard. However, there must be a problem with the drivers. After some period of inactivity, discs will automatically (incorrectly) eject, the Finder will hang and require a forced restart. I've heard that this can be solved by disabling the option in the OS to put the disks to sleep, but I don't want all my drives running 24/7 to avoid errors. Will return.

. Pros - Works much better than my Drobo when I'm not. I don't need as much redundancy and just do a quick laptop or desktop backup. Instantly recognized by many different BIOSes and compatible with USB 2 and USB 3. The cable is a bit short but it uses the standard power cord that many people carry separately.

Does everything you need. If you're looking at that, it's because you don't need a SAS setup for some reason. I installed it in my home server cage and it is used to store all my backup drives connected via USB 3.0.
