Compact, portable and fast. As a result I got three pieces, one of each color. One was for my wife to help her back up her laptop more often and two were to provide additional storage for my Hades Canyon Nuc and a portable backup drive for me. I attached them to the body with 3M velcro so I could quickly detach them and plug them somewhere else. Finally I was able to get an M.2 SSD for this beautiful external USB SSD enclosure. The first SSD I bought was a Western Digital WD_Black with a heatsink. Unless of course I knew, but I soon realized it was going to be too thick for the case so it went into my computer. Then I bought a Samsung 970 EVO Plus without a heat sink.
