this is a great kettle but when I picked it I didn't realize how wide it is. I kept it anyway, but I wish I hadn't. So other than the size, it's a great pot

This is my second purchase, the first broke after a few years. The perfect size, works on both gas and electric, the handle is comfortable to hold and best of all it's easy to keep clean as you can see everything. Also, the design is clean and simple, so I look good on the stove whether I'm using it or not.

I would appreciate instructions as I'm one of those people who doesn't understand anything after a random tea bag. Another star was for the time I spent online trying to guess what other teapots were similar to the one I ordered. I finally found a mention of it on page 5 of a google search, but no instructions. Luckily my questions were answered by others. Maybe I made a good purchase after all.

This is VERY stylish and looks high quality. However, what I received had a serious flaw. When the pot is filled with hot water, the black plastic lid will simply fall off if the pot is tipped over. And before you all roll your eyes, I'm referring to the entire black plastic cap assembly, not just the inner "cap" that screws securely into place. This is a major safety concern, which is why I reluctantly sent mine back. Like any good 1940s movie star, he's very stylish but fatally flawed.

Very good kettle. I used to use cheesecloth that I put in a pot. This method created a huge mess and a bag of gauze that I had to dry. This kettle keeps the loose leaf material in the liquid without touching or scalding the bottom. Clear glass is nice for seeing the efficiency of what you're doing. We bought this pot because the lids of the ceramic pots we kept getting broke. The glass material that makes up this pot appears to be very strong and we haven't broken it yet. You can't stir or dip…
