Convert GE Monogram Dome to LED

Conversation of my GE Monogram hood with 50 watt halogens on 5 watt LEDs. Has worked flawlessly. Simply double the light! The factory four position dimmer worked with LED bulbs too! I reduced the power from 300W to 30W! Tenfold reduction. I went from a warm white to a cool white that matches the rest of the kitchen fixtures. The photo was taken with the hood lit only. MARVELOUS!

Great in height, shimmers in depth

I have used your bulbs to replace 4 halogen bulbs in my range. The halogen bulbs burned out after a while. I thought LED bulbs would last longer and use less energy. With the switch in the maximum position, the bulbs light up and look good. In low light, the lights flicker and nobody can stand it. So we just use these lightbulbs in height. The literature says they use less power, which sounds right for LED bulbs. I've only had a few months so it's too early to speak of good longevity.

We replaced the hot and expensive UBER halogens on my mother's range hood with these

Mum needed a new bonnet but the nicer ones had halogen headlights. After much deliberation we decided to buy a prettier hood and use it in it. My mom wanted a simple option that was eco-friendly but not hot. After reading all the other reviews and checking to make sure they were safe we tried them out and they worked like a charm on my mom's Broan Glacier BCSD range hood. Ventilation until she loses a little suction cup to change her, all right! (FYI, they don't work with sealed "lifetime"…
