Review on πŸ’‘ Dimmable Replacement Twist N Lock Bulb by Simba Lighting by Patrick Hamilton

Revainrating 5 out of 5

We replaced the hot and expensive UBER halogens on my mother's range hood with these

Mum needed a new bonnet but the nicer ones had halogen headlights. After much deliberation we decided to buy a prettier hood and use it in it. My mom wanted a simple option that was eco-friendly but not hot. After reading all the other reviews and checking to make sure they were safe we tried them out and they worked like a charm on my mom's Broan Glacier BCSD range hood. Ventilation until she loses a little suction cup to change her, all right! (FYI, they don't work with sealed "lifetime" bulbs (yes, right?!?) in the BCDF series). And as a bonus, so are the lightbulbs she needs for her new over-the-sink lighting. God, it was hard to find a fixture where the bulbs weren't rigidly connected to the lamp. WHAT ABOUT IT? If a bulb burns out, do I need to replace the ENTIRE bulb? Whose brilliant idea was that? And that is now the standard. Buyer beware. See if you can change the bulbs in this nifty light fixture. We had to replace 4 (FOUR!) lights that were installed in her home 2 years ago because NONE of the bulbs could be replaced and she certainly couldn't go up the stairs and replace the cord light in 84. lightbulb, yes; device, NO!
