💡 Silver Floor Lamp with Reading Light - Simple Designs Home LF2000-SLV Review

I needed a lamp for my sewing room and it definitely suited me! Adjust the brightness of the light as you like. The reading light was a bonus as I can shine it on my sewing machine when extra light is needed or just turn it off as both lights work independently.

I find the design of the lamp very bad. The lamp on the side can be moved due to the design. But the side light stem is too weak. Just flip the switch to turn it on and the side lamp will move. This means you have to move the side lamp every time you turn it on. I have two of these, one on each side of the table. Both have the same problem. First, the construction and material quality is extremely poor. Weak stand, weak construction, bad material and bad design are the first impressions I got from this product. My item was packaged in a very cheap plain cardboard box with some torn pieces exposing the cheap and flimsy inner foam. This lamp has a low price for a reason. It's not even worth what they charge for it. Assembly is required - there are several tubular sections (about 1/2" diameter) that need to be twisted together. There is cable in the sections and wire is in excess. I found it very difficult to assemble, had to let my wife hold it part of it to assemble it.
