Simple Guide Fresh Water Aquariums Review

This book helped me set up my first fish tank. This was a great resource and I would recommend it to anyone who knows little to nothing about fish and setting up an aquarium. Very thorough, although sometimes it seems tedious. If you follow the basics outlined in this book, you will have a successful tank. I've had mine set up for a while now and it works great with the instructions in this book!

I really enjoyed referencing this book when setting up my first 55 gallon aquarium. Boruchowitz writes in a friendly, funny tone while remaining informative. I particularly appreciate the placement ideas - he listed several groups of fish that 1) will not overpopulate your aquarium, 2) usually coexist peacefully, and 3) are suitable for novice aquarists.
