Very easy to assemble - instructions included, everything is done with a screwdriver. Felt wobbly until the rear cross pins were screwed in, but now it feels as solid as can be. Can even fit more than the 12 pairs of shoes I have here depending on the width of your shoes. However, the color "Bronze" is more like black, but it doesn't matter since it's already in my closet.
