I like that this file looks exactly as advertised. Assembly is quick and easy. The product must stand motionless on a flat, firm surface as the drawers can easily be pulled out of the grooves.

The only thing missing that I didn't notice was the floor. A hanging file has no bottom. folder above the drawer. I wanted to be able to throw notebooks in the trash, but I can't do that without putting them in a folder. Not terrible, just not what I wanted.

This works but is unreliable and some design changes. Essentially the side pieces no longer have round metal wires for the legs, they are "halved" so the legs only fit on the side and not as pictured. I guess they wanted to save some metal in production so it still works well, but definitely not the most durable and beautiful. I've attached a photo to show what I was trying to explain.

It's just a bit embarrassing when you're folding the folder and it rubs against the drawer and gets stuck. I took it out and put it on the side so it's more comfortable for me. As for the rubber footers, I think people put them on the wrong way around, they stay put and work great! You have to twist them until they click into place. I currently have 15 folders hanging and there is room for more. It was also very easy to assemble. Not too big and not too small. Seems perfect for what I need it…

Legs fall off with every slightest movement. Feet are not required, except not to scratch the surface they are sitting on. The assembly instructions were fairly clear, however the holes on one side were misaligned and it took some effort to finally insert and secure the screw. I didn't expect the box to just fall out without a trace. It's functional. I would be happier if the price was $12 or less.

Update: The issue I am having with the frame is actually related to the mold they use to make the item. The replacement I received also had a good piece and a wobbly one. The good news is I can put them together into a good one. Bad news: I would buy another one if they could fix this issue, but currently they won't. Parts of the frame were warped. When I bought this to organize my kids distance learning packs, I didn't realize the hanging compartment separating it from the drawer didn't have a bottom. I've bought suspension files and sometimes one of the folders will slip off the rail they are on causing it to fall into the open top of the drawer and snag on things in the drawers. It also keeps you from placing things like books on top. Definitely a disappointment and doesn't do the job I bought it for. The crate is just a metal basket…
