After months of wrestling with a cat sitting on my keyboard, I decided to buy a case for my keyboard. It works great as long as the keyboard isn't too wide. My keyboard doesn't have a number pad, so it fits under the monitor's glass stand. It's big enough that my hands can fit under the stand and I can type with ease. The cat sits on it when it wants attention, but it can't type at the moment.

I use the monitor stand as a keyboard case. My hands reach down while typing and I can look down through the clear glass if I want to. It's sturdy and sturdy so my 10kg cat can sleep on it while I work on the computer! The price was perfect! I bought acrylic molds and couldn't find a size that fits my needs.
