Overall not bad but with some bugs.

Simplehuman touchless automatic touch soap dispenser looks great and works very well. I like the fact that you can adjust the amount of soap dispensed based on where you put your hands - no buttons to press. This makes it easier for me to get more soap for my big hands and still my kids don't waste soap on their little hands. I'm deducting a star for the following reasons: 1) It's almost as if the common man doesn't want a warranty: That's the only reason I can explain why the serial number is…

Not necessarily better than the previous generation.

I always look forward to new simplehuman sensor pumps because I have them all over the house. I currently have the previous generation, simplehuman 8 oz. The soap sample sensor pump, white, and the six I have in my house have been working great for almost 2.5 years now. This new model weighs 9 ounces while mine weighs 8 ounces but first impressions are wow! more than my 8oz model. Works well, advanced technology, possibly short lifespan, unusual warranty

I bought this item for a new bathroom decoration. Worked well and was reliable. It lasted ten months of daily use, to the point that it completely failed after about 300 uses and a few battery charges. Forensic analysis of the failure concluded that the internally protected battery or its electronic control (within the battery) had failed.
