The ability to have an open relationship with your supervisor/manager at work was great! I found it beneficial that we could talk about any issues without fear of repercussions from my manager /supervisor (or even other co-workers). Sometimes there were long periods where no calls would be made available which lead me into thinking something wasn't going well - but then they called back during those times when i needed them too much not make contact until later in day etc..
