After trying this suncover, I found it to be flimsy and not as protective as advertised. The build quality and fit were poor, and it quickly became dislodged while on the water. The only positive aspect was the ease of installation. However, overall, I would not recommend this product for anyone seeking reliable sun protection for their marine electronics.

the item delivered is for a 9 inch model although the packaging label says go7 obviously too big for a go7 as I compared it to the broken cap which was delivered with my go7

This sun visor is the correct size for the GO7 HIDDEN (surface) mount. SIMrad doesn't publish the actual dimensions of their sun protection cases and even their tech support took the trouble to find out some of the differences as there are three sun protection cases with slightly different sizes. One caveat: There is a third party that sells what they call SURFACE or BRACKET mount sunshades. This is incorrect and only suitable for the bracket. When you come back they will blow you away with…
