This was the perfect product for what I needed. My garage door opener broke due to an electrical surge. I figured I needed some sort of small outlet surge protector to protect my garage door openers. They are perfect for that. The blue LED is very bright so I'm not sure if it's suitable for living spaces unless it's well hidden.

Well I needed it so I bought this one, it doesn't block the second connector which is great. but the BLUE light is too strong for my bedroom. I hope I can get used to it. I didn't feel like buying another one as long as it works well, but I highly recommend using it in a place where you won't see glare. The BLUE light shaft is in my bedroom and acts as a night light.

I repeat purchase even within 2 days they are so good! Personally, a small form factor was important to me so that another socket is not blocked when it is connected.
