Very happy with bulbs

I bought a balloon chain from Restoration Hardware a few years ago and I love it. After a strong storm some of them broke and unfortunately it is not easy to find replacement bulbs in local stores. I ordered the clear Sival candelabra bulbs and they light up my backyard fence beautifully. I ordered two boxes to make sure I had extra bulbs and I'm glad I did. Excellent goods!

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Not sure

Just what I needed

They were well packaged and just what I needed to replace the burned out lightbulbs in our garland that we use year round hold over our patio and pool . In fact, we leave them on all the time and they have a very long lifespan. You just have to be a little careful with them as they are brittle but even outside in the wind and rain we never had a problem unless the entire string got blown off but now I've secured the strings with zip ties so hope I mean that won't happen again will happen again.

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Perfect Garden Ridge replacement bulbs

I bought some Garden Ridge patio light filaments and had a few breaks. The lamps in the circuit are G40 120V 5W lamps and they are listed as 130V 5W. When they arrived I tested them to see if they were 130v or 120v and they were all stamped 120v. It doesn't matter if they were 130v, but if you're looking for the perfect replacement for your patio lights, buy them. . They also appear to be slightly less fragile than the bulbs that were on the chain and you can't even tell they are spare bulbs…

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • New competitors appeared
