🔧 Chrome Precision Base Plate for Intricate Thinlits by Sizzix - Multicolor Option Review

I never knew what this plate was good for until I saw Tim Holtz demonstrate his ability to bring fine stamp detail to life. I have enjoyed using this with my Sizzix machine but it cannot be used on two Sizzix models. One model that cannot be used is the fold-away that I have. So I gifted this to my handyman friend as she has one of the models to use with it.

Before purchasing the Precision Chrome Base Plate, I had the original Thin Matrix Precision Metal Base Plate (black). The new version has been improved in a very important way. Even though they're both the same size (10 x 6.125 inches are the same thickness), the new chrome precision plate precisely cuts even 110# cardstock with complex die-cuts, usually in just ONE pass!
