Nice design, very thin silicone = some wasted soap

I love the design! ... and judging by all the photos, it turns out a beautiful soap in a cold way, with one caveat; because the silicone is so thin that the mold bulges a bit when filled - I haven't made soap yet but tested it with oatmeal for a heavy trail consistency. Soap makers should expect some soap waste when they need trimming, and even on the sides. I think the price is fair. Heavy silicone molds are expensive. It's good to have forms available.

These new molds are grossly overpriced, but if you really need bees and honeycomb for DIY soap, are you paying the right amount? I'm pretty sure you can get them for less than $2 each lol. In any case, they work, and that's the main thing. I've also bought cheaper plain silicone oval soap…

I'm learning how to use an eyedropper to apply the soap in small areas that make it three dimensional, but that's what I really like about it. You can make the design stand out by using different colors in the mold and paint the soap bar a different color to get the full effect. I would recommend this shape but you need to be aware of the 3D elements. On a lower note; I…
