This is what it is, it is an Amplifier Wiring Kit. RCA cables are flimsy and probably not suitable. The supplied remote turn-on cable for the amp is absolute crap. It's so thin that it literally rips apart if you try to strip it, and you'll have to consider putting a connector on the end or wrapping the bare wire around. This is a normal installation. I used it to connect a 1200w amp. The cables are easy to route and look great. Few people think I had to shoot the stars. First, you won't get everything you need and this set should have it all. Luckily this wasn't my first installation and I had parts from kits from other well known brands. The power and ground wire that came with this kit was good and so far I haven't had any problems with it, but the remote wire that came with the kit I couldn't strip with three different sets of wire strippers. On the outside it just expands and when you eventually strip it takes about 3/4 of the copper wire with it.
