⚡ Skar Audio VX35-ST 3.5-Inch High Compression Titanium Bullet Tweeters, Pair - 300W RMS Review

Put them in my Slingshot waterfall speaker. I've never used a tweeter like these before and they add a pun quality I've never heard before. They're so loud and clear that now they sound terrible without them.

Having used these tweeters for a while all I can say is that they are loud and clear. They are very good for the price. I have these along with some other Skar speakers and a couple of subwoofers and they are great. Definitely recommend them for car audio lovers.

These speakers are nearly impossible to install because the cable tabs are wider than the cabinet. The wiring pins are rigid and soldered to the connector wires (why?). How do you fit the speaker into the hole without breaking the wire tabs!? You can not. They may sound great, but their design sucks for editing.

REVISION: Sounds good BUT they're almost impossible to install. You have to take them apart to get them through the mounting hole, and then when you try to put them back together once they're mounted on the baffle, it's almost impossible to get to the screw holes. Also, you can't control the tour tools with their super strong magnets. I could insert a screw; I'm still trying to figure out how to put the other two in.

I first bought a pair of Skar Audio VX35-ST 3.5" 300w RMS tweeters for four 6 1/2" speakers then bought 2 more to fit the rear to assemble surrounds. Panels, and the results are very impressive, I still have 6 dome tweeters, 3 on each door, but that's not a comparison, I mean the difference, like: from the sky to the ground, the sound is very clear and very clean, for me they are very like if you are looking for tweeters just get these you will not regret.

THE ONE THAT CHANGE THE ENTIRE SOUND THEY ARE AWESOME I LOVE THEM WILL GET 2 SAFER. YOU WILL NOT REGRET THIS PRICE

For those looking to replace the tweeters in their Toyota RAV4 they fit in the dash. However, you need to make your own adapter to match the factory screw holes. What I did was pull out the factory tweeters. Then cut them to remove the tabs from the tweeter and attach to the Skar tweeter with self tapping screws. Once this is done they will fit into the factory screw holes and there is no need to cut the dash or door panel. This makes a big difference to the crappy rav4 sound system.

I would say this is a 2.5 star product. I just received them in the mail today and was super excited that they arrived faster than expected. 2 thumbs up for shipping. BUT. After opening and inspecting it, I noticed it immediately. Yes, the negative looks strong enough for a plug to fit on it. but when I saw the positive pole and saw that the high pass filter wire was soldered into the hole. So how the hell am I supposed to put a plug in this mess?!?!?!?!?!?!? Obviously this is not possible…
