Well built, comfortable, true to size

Honestly, this is one of the best pairs of Skechers I have ever owned. The sizing is true to reality and the shoes look well built. I fully expected to get her through the break-in period, instead no break-in was required. My pair fit perfectly out of the box. The emphasis on arch fit, combined with the overall lightness of the shoe itself, makes this my favorite soft-soled shoe. After wearing them for a few weeks I think they will last more than a season. However, this isn't the type of shoe…

Plantar Fasciitis Can Eat My Shorts

I got plantar fasciitis after chasing my runaway child. She cycled along the path and headed for the road. I haven't run in 7 years due to back problems, but sprinting is about breaking my paper machete. We shouldn't have gone this route, it's very difficult to keep an eye on the children, there are a lot of barbed wire fences, it's too crowded etc. but my wife demanded we go there and she is much worse off than Foot problems so we went. shoes anyway. At pf you must always wear shoes. Barefoot…

Comfortable arch support

This is the most comfortable and supportive shoe I have ever worn. I walk a lot and have used expensive arch supports in the past. I was hesitant to order them without trying them on but they are true to size and on top of that they offer the same arch support as the custom insoles at a fraction of the cost. I don't normally write product reviews, but I found it important for those of us with "flat feet". These are good shoes with excellent arch support.

Mostly comfortable but not perfect

Real arch support was missing. I have large arches and need extra arch support. Skechers uses a soft, cushioned heel that allows the heel to sink in a bit more and can provide some arch support. Pretty comfortable shoes, sure, but not perfect. In addition, a very thin tongue that transfers the discomfort of the tip to the top of the foot.

Comfort after a few weeks of wear

My feet hurt a little at first but after a few weeks of wear they got better and better. Two months later I am very happy with it. They are a replacement for my "hiking shoes" but now I wear them quite often - to walk or not. While the gizmo/catchword/something like Arch Fit works well for my flat feet, I don't understand how these shoes cost $70. That's twice the price of regular everyday sketches. The ad makes it sound like they invented arch supports. Are the shoes made of rubber (soles) and

Fits shoe size

I bought these shoes for my husband who has a sagging arch on his right foot. He works at Wal-Mart's distribution center, so he works on concrete all day. His feet are really troubling him and we have bought so many shoes that just don't work! He recently found out he has neuropathy and the doctor recommended Hoka shoes but the price is crazy so we thought we'd try the Skechers Arch fit and I'm so glad we did . Mike hasn't complained about his legs in days. I even went back and bought him…

Men's Skechers GOwalk Arch Fit Idyllic Sneakers

They fit and feel good. But I would like all shoe manufacturers to standardize sizes. These shoes are taller and wider than any other size 12 shoe I own. I know the ad said this is true to size, but what is true to size for a size 12 wide shoe? Why can't manufacturers provide the actual length and width in inches so I can determine what size to order? I would probably order a size 11 or 11.5 if I knew the measurements.

The arch support built into these shoes saves you money

All the commercials I've seen for this shoe advertise an arched fit which I think means it one is a sort of raised area in the shoe where the arch of the foot hits. Not so with this shoe. The inside is as flat as a normal pair of shoes. I had to put my own Vionic sockliner in the shoe over the existing sockliner to give my arch some lift. These shoes are not worth the $65 they charged me and I am returning them. I can pay $35 for a pair of Skechers and get the same result. When will companies…
