Bought a pair of Skechers Arch Fit golf shoes and ordered them straight away. Golf shoes, I think the first ones I've ever worn that were comfortable without the slightest "shrinkage". I tried them because the New Balance shoes I was wearing had almost no arch support. I have high arches and wide feet. I ordered the widest Skechers I could find in my size but they are too tight to wear. While they have great arch support, they offer little to no ball support. They make me feel like I'm leaning forward and at the end of the day, the ball of my foot hurts. It was a good experiment, but I'll probably try Hoka shoes next time, even though they cost an arm and a leg.

I bought these to replace a similar pair. The early Skechers fitted well and lasted many years until I accidentally burned a hole through one of them. The new ones reviewed here were the same size I've worn for decades. However, they are bigger. Specifically, they are 1/2" longer and 3/16" wider than the top pair. You feel too free. I used to have a bad opinion of the Sketchers brand as poor quality and/or what your grandparents wear when they walk through the mall but I have three pairs of them now and then they are very comfortable, appear to be well made and the style is above average, if not avant-garde.

The trunk itself was fine. I returned for a refund. I was glad it wasn't memory foam. Hate Memory Foam causes jungle rot on people with hot feet, but I wasn't aware they come with such a thick insole. People who don't need arch support won't like them because they make you feel like you're standing on tiptoe. With others, I see how they will feel comfortable. If they made the same shoes with a regular insole I would definitely buy them.

So without much thought, this shoe has become my favorite shoe. I'm constantly looking for the perfect shoe and this one is very close. I haven't worn them to parties and 24 hours a day, but for a typical 8 hour day they are fine. Probably not the coolest shoe, but far from the most boring. Just comfortable, comfortable, decent looking shoes that are easy to wear and walk.

Buy them for a family trip to Disneyland. The best purchase I've made in a long time. If I hadn't gotten these shoes, who knows how I would have lived. Perfect, comfortable, soft, airy fit and feel. Recommend these shoes if you plan to walk.
