Skechers Porter Vamen Slip Loafer Men's Shoes in Loafers & Slip-Ons Review

This is the second pair of Porter Vamen slip ons that I have ordered. According to the Brannock device, the industry standard foot gauge, I measure a size 12. I ordered a size 12 and they were just huge. I sent them back and ordered two sizes up to 11. They arrived yesterday when I was going out. The shoes look great, someone should think about that beforehand. It's not difficult to look at the ocean (random/lazy-active). I have 2 pairs for me and my family - both fit loose and that's ok. They also have considerable arch support - it seems to soften with wear. They are only a few days old but appear to be well made. I don't know if they qualify as boat boots but the sole is great on wet decks + the leather upper holds up to washing the boat pretty well. We love her!

I am very disappointed in this product. This kind of scam really annoys me. I paid $65 for trash. They sell it as an official Sketcher product even though you pay the same amount. Also, the size is too small. I have seen and bought Skechers shoes before and know the quality of the official product, unfortunately this is not the case.

This review is for the Men's Sketchers Porter Brown Leather Slippers. They are very light, so they have almost no support. Despite advertising for "cooling" insoles, they are uncomfortably hot, sweaty, and slippery in shoes. The fit was perfect and they are comfortable if you want to wear them in a surf chair. However, I bought them as boats and for that purpose they are dangerous. Sweat and spatter make my feet slip in my shoes. There's just no support and I'm more than a little annoyed that…

I love them. I need to be able to take my shoes off for work (I'm a real estate photographer). Importantly, I can put them on and take them off without bending over (it's uncommon to have photo gear around your neck). I don't know why producers don't put out shows like this anymore. Anyway, I'm glad I was able to get a few of these.

I have literally 6 pairs of Skechers (lace up shoes) the same size and they all fit perfectly. But they fall off my heel because of the design or the size. I can only use them at home as slippers, but they don't work as moccasins. Perhaps a smaller size would be better, but a stationary showroom has its perks. Never email again!
