My husband has terrible feet at work! He's a landscape architect and his feet stay wet and dirty. He has terrible blisters. I speak so badly you can almost see the bones. So I wear work shoes, I'm a waiter. So I thought let's check out the sketchers. They're not part of their non-slip work line, but they've changed their workday by 300%. We ordered extra wide ones so his fingers don't rub as much, the leather keeps him from getting wet, the memory foam just makes him happy. In the photo they…

Lasts less than a year

These are very comfortable shoes but will last less than a year.1. I've gone through 4 pairs of these Sketchers and they all lasted about 9 months before the soles came off the shoe or the stitching started poking little holes. Now I wear them every day; I'm mostly on my feet but mostly wear them indoors. So I wear them a lot, so I'll leave it to you if they wear out too quickly.2. They are comfortable for my feet. I wear size 12 and they fit perfectly. I recently ordered another pair of shoes…

Great fit and very comfortable walking shoes

I admit I'm not an expert on walking shoes. I use cheap ones including the ones I bought from Revain last October. Well it's early July and I haven't even lived a full year since I bought the last pair. I've seen a lot of TV commercials for Sketchers so I decided to give it a try. I'm very glad I did. They run true to size which is nice as I usually had to order a full size for them to fit. I also ordered a roomy fit just in case, and it turned out to be a good choice. I walk about 90 minutes…

X-wide size is good for Morton Syndrome

About a month ago I noticed that my right foot was being pinched to the point of pain by the boots. Then I found out I had Morton's Syndrome, an inflammation of the nerves between the bones in the foot. I immediately had to buy wider shoes because I couldn't walk in my normal shoes. These shoes were useful in several ways. (1): They are wide enough to avoid pain. (2): Very hard-wearing outsole prevents the foot from bending. This turned out to be an issue with my previous purchase and while…

Width 10 1/2, well made but not wide enough.

Ordered 10 1/2 sizes as usual from New Balance. The sketchers were the right length. But the width was a little tight at the toes. I tried the insoles through Dr. Scholls but the shoes pinched my toes so badly I sent the original insoles back. You seem to have enough margin of safety that Dr. Sound is not needed. I'll find out more after playing tennis for a few hours. As long as they aren't too tight at the toes, they're fine. Update: When I wore these shoes on a 1 hour walk they pinched my…
