I was looking for less clunky trainers for a trip to Europe. This was my first Skechers purchase after reading all the reviews. I'm a solid 6.5 in a dress and trainers. I bought a navy blue 6.5 and a taupe 7. 6.5 is too small. You can see the outline of my nail pressed against the top of the shoe. No room for socks. Size 7 fits better - about 3/8 inch between the toe and the top of the boot. A size 7 fits a thin sock, but if you want to use thick hiking socks for fall, they won't fit (you'll…
