🦴 Skeleton Hand Themed Cast Iron Bottle Opener by Upper Deck Review

Very well made but poorly designed. I bought a couple of these - one for myself and one as a gift, both have the same problem. They fit some bottles but literally can't fit bottles with a small ring under the cap. Turns out most of the bottles I drink have this ring on them. Spring. Only $10.

I love the idea of a skeleton hand as a bottle opener, especially since I'm getting married at the end of October 2020 and my theme is skeletons and spiders. But what I don't like is that one of my hands (ordered 2) little finger tip was broken. I don't have time to ship and replace it. It remains to figure out how to glue it with superglue.

I love this bar wrench, it looks super cool and works great, but it doesn't fit when I'm working and need to move fast. You have to somehow place it a certain way to open the bottle, which I don't have time for on a busy Friday night! So handy for busy bartenders? no Cool to show off to guests? Yes!

It was a gift for friends who celebrate Halloween all year round. It's great that I can ask her for "help" when I want to open a bottle. Very well made item with good weight. A bottle opener works best with the palm facing up. I think there is a tendency to use it palm down, which is possible but less effective. If you hold it palm up, those vertices will pop out in no time.

This item is larger than I expected, well made and very heavy. It's nice to hold in your hands. It looks more like a creepy monkey's paw than a skeleton's hand. It's a little tricky to use because the metal isn't a straight piece. Instead, it has 2 tabs that you can place under the bottle cap to open. This takes some getting used to as the caps don't always pop out on the first try. But overall I like it a lot.

My son-in-law is a heavy drinker. He has a makeshift tiki room adorned with classic horror collectibles, as well as a cocktail corner in the kitchen.
