It's a gamble, the best in baseball

Well, first of all, the instruction manual that came with this product did not match the assembly of this product at all. I used the photo on the box to understand the assembly. The anchors that are designed to secure this device to the ground don't work well and once I had it properly secured to the ground with my own system the pieces started falling apart after throwing a few balls at it. So I had to put the pieces together in a different way. I managed to keep it together now and it's…

Cons
  • Minor repairability

Check the mesh before assembly!

Unfortunately, after assembling our rear sofa, we found a knot in the net that looked frayed. My son loved throwing balls at it so it was assembled and running the same day. But after 20 minutes of play, the frayed knot untied and turned into a hole, and that's on a semi-rigid foam baseball that's good for the basement! The next day I called SKLZ support thinking they would just send a new mesh. They were closed due to fires in the area so I left a message explaining what happened. A week later

Decent budget product, only for young children

This is when you get what you pay for. It's a decent item but definitely not durable enough for high school or older. It says directly on the packaging that this item is not suitable for children over 10 years of age. Bad job, not to mention that fact in the Revain description. It took me about 10 minutes to assemble. Instructions are minimal, but assembly is fairly easy. Target marking is a piece of red tape that you have to thread through the web. Ground stakes are very thin and cannot…

Good for beginners

This net was easy to put together for the most part once you got the hang of it. The only thing I didn't like about her was that she was kind of twisted. The included stakes to help him stay on the ground and not tip over if you throw him at them don't really help much. My biggest problem was that it didn't come with a target zone tape. I contacted the seller for assistance and told them they emailed me thanking me for contacting them but emailed a different email address with specific…

Not as described curved rod

So the red ribbon they give is not long enough to do 13x9 squares it only covers 11x8 squares. Even with this adjustment, tying it down is not enough. So my husband and I ran around looking for something to hold the ends together. One of the poles was bent so my husband had to bend it so we could fit the pole in. We'll take it tomorrow to see how it performs and then I can better assess the strength and durability. So my son is 9 years old and throws a ball at 50-60 miles an hour and everything

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • No introduction

Really good for throwing and catching training!

I bought this for my nephew as a thank you and also to help him when he tries his hand at baseball. It's a great tool, especially for him because he wants to practice being a pitcher or outfielder. This device helps both at the same time. The concept is simple: throw a ball at a red box and the ball will bounce at you at an angle of 30-45 degrees, allowing you to catch some good pop-up balls. While some of the energy is lost in the physics of the ball's impact and change in speed, most of it is
