Ergonomic, convenient button control, in my opinion, is again more logical than that of the younger line of the Hesh model, where the left bowl is not involved at all, and all control is on the right. The Crusher series is a little different: on the right earcup there are three buttons for volume + -, pause / accept a call, and on the left earcup there is an orange power button, an immersive-tactile extra bass level slider, a Type-C charging socket and a standard audio input 3 .5 mm, which undoubtedly can be attributed to the pluses of Skullcandy headphones, which distinguish them from AKG K 361-BT and Sennheiser HD 450BT, where the audio input is non-standard 2.5 mm and you can only use the proprietary AUX cable from the kit with them, while AKG still and the charging port is outdated microUSB, and even heavily recessed into the case, so that normal charging without loss of contact is possible only with the bundled cable. Crusher Evo can also work via Bluetooth when charging the battery, the younger model Hesh ANC could not, completely turned off when charging. Bass control, by the way, also works when the Crusher Evo is connected to a sound source, but the headphones must be turned on in normal mode by holding the orange power button.

- The Crusher Evo soundstage unfortunately has the same drawbacks as the younger Hesh ANC model - mids and highs seem to be muffled, not well developed, which I think is especially noticeable when listening to music in the PlayerPro and jetAudio + audio player applications on an Android smartphone. For music from a mobile device, I would prefer other headphones, for example Marshall Major IV, they will be more balanced on the stage. However, the bass in the Crusher Evo is beyond praise, of course, I repeat, no one else has such a solution in this price category.

There was a choice to take the Crusher EVO or the new Sony WH-XB910N. After testing Sony, I realized that there is nothing new in them, except for noise reduction. And bass too, compared to the ancient XB500. The big difference between the crushers is that in addition to the 40mm driver, behind these drivers in the crushers there are also motors with a low-frequency diaphragm. In fact, an analogue of a subwoofer, which can be added or turned off at any time very conveniently. That is, low frequencies do not interrupt all others and do not become quieter when the volume is turned up. There is also no effect, which is in 90% of headphones, that when you add bass in the equalizer, the overall volume simply drops. Here it will be hammered so that at first it will reduce the teeth. Suitable for listening to Drama, Dubstep, Electronic music, as well as metal and industrial. The main plus is the bass adjustment slider, which is very conveniently located on the left headband and can be easily adjusted depending on the song you are listening to. If I listen to Electronic music, dub, drama and I want emotions, I can turn the slider to the maximum, while listening to the same Metallica, Rammstein - a little to crush the volume of the sound. The quality of the materials is top notch. Headband with metal insert. Pleasant expensive soft-touch plastic, ear pads made of quality material with a memory effect, Alcantara on the top of the temple. The only thing that can fail is plastic hinges, but so far I have not found such incidents on the Internet. Pleased with the application, which has the function of adjusting the sound to your hearing. Many say that the thing is useless, but in my case everything is perfect. Just the headphones added high frequencies, which I always added in any equalizer. The customization is saved in the headphones and will work on other connected devices. In fact, you can set them up once and forget them.

Well my old Mi8 and wife's phone works great and connects right away. At first I thought that the headphones were not original, but it turned out to be a messy software.
