Skunk2 Racing Alpha Series Radiator for 1994-2001 Acura Integra (Part #349-05-1000) Review

Purchased for Integra 98 LS. 3 stars because the radiator fan does not fit properly, had to be installed. AC fan won't screw on, had to use Jerry Rig. Should have gone with KoyoRad!

Used on my Integra 98 with b20B exchange. The equipment is excellent, the car runs very cool now, I don't worry about traffic jams anymore. The only complaint is that there is no way to install my AC fan. Factory radiator fan only. Had to wind up the AC fan

The quality is excellent, I'm a welder and the welding on my bike is much better than the photos taken for the product being shown, the reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because for some reason it has a type A radiant cap instead of a type B OEM style radiant cap which means you cannot run the high pressure Cap that you may have already bought. I also had to weld my own AC fan mounts and wanted that to be an option or already included.

The radiator was not equipped with a drain plug. I can't find replacement drain plugs by searching online by brand name. I can't find any information on the thread size/drain plug specs either. My radio's OEM drain plug will not fit. I will try to contact skunk2 support directly for information on how to get a replacement drain plug or look up the drain plug manufacturer's specifications so I can find a replacement myself. This review is for the Skunk2 Alpha cooler on my track only Acura Integra. I drive the car for up to 30 minutes at a time. My Mishimoto radiator was leaking, so I replaced it with a radiator from an auto parts store. My car started to overheat after 15 minutes on track, so I switched to a cheap all-aluminum radiator.
