🔧 Optimize Stability with Skyjacker 7254 Steering Stabilizer Dual Kit Review

Excellent packaging, excellent quality, factory stabilizer took 15 minutes to apply and remove. Trucks drive much better in strong crosswinds and turn the steering wheel much less off-road.

No shock absorber instructions or stickers are included. After researching the Skyjackers website for some time I found the torque specs. They do their job but I wonder if I would get everything if I ordered direct from Skyjacker.

Fits perfectly, delivered quickly and the price was competitive (better) than any other local or online options. Tackled death wobble issues on my 05 F350 wagon. Not COMPLETE, but it's like increasing the fold ratio from 10 to 1. For a pallet truck (35s) I can live with that. Plus, it looks great and doesn't compromise ground clearance at all.

The STABILIZERS themselves are good. However, the mounts and associated hardware are rubbish! U-bolts don't want to go around the bars and into the brackets or axle. Screws will bend and break or loosen, while brackets will bend. I bought the same kit for another truck over 5 years ago and have struggled with u-bolts in the brackets but have never had any issues with things bending, lagging or breaking. Must love offloading low quality junk.

Well that I can't let go less than one. Let's start this journey by looking at the sticker on the outside of the box. "Double set. New". Well, I already see two problems, the first. a stabilizer. Second, this damn thing doesn't look new to me. Then look at the packaging. Serious? Parcels with parts wrapped in packing tape. But hey, it said it was brand new. No parts list, no installation instructions. In general, it looks like poor handling from the start.
