Improved Suspension Performance with Hydro Absorber

When it comes to shock and vibration control, I am always on the lookout for the best product in the Industrial and Scientific category. My analysis of this product showed that it delivers. The Skyjacker H7012 Softride Hydro Absorber helped improve my vehicle's suspension significantly. The installation was easy, and I noticed an immediate difference in how the car handles rough terrain. However, it is a bit pricier than other options in the market.

Pros
  • Improves overall ride comfort and provides enhanced stability on bumpy roads.
Cons
  • May wear out faster than other absorbers due to the added softness in the ride.

Perfect for the weekend

I installed 4 of these on my 1973 Jeep CJ5. Since I'm not going to do Dukes of Hazard jumps into an old girl. These shocks have shown fantastic results for everyday riding and light to moderate off-road use.

Pros
  • Industrial & Scientific
Cons
  • So far so good

Not what I was hoping for, if you will.

Not what I was hoping for. If you want a soft ride shock, you might want to use something else on the Suzuki Samurai. Once the shock is installed it has no travel but about 2 inches.

Pros
  • Shock absorber
Cons
  • Expensive
