Great shocks for the price

I replaced the Rancho 5000 shocks with these Skyjacker 8000s. Huge upgrades eliminated the death wobble from my 2000 f250 super debt. Highly recommended. Let's see how long they last before replacing them.

Pros
  • Shocks
Cons
  • Some minor things

Avoid these shocks at all costs, not worth the money

After a year of on-road use and rarely off-road, my 99 f250 has them all removed I am very disappointed in the Skyjacker, I will no longer buy Skyjacker shock absorbers. My blown shocks were very smooth compared to these

Pros
  • Industrial & Scientific
Cons
  • boring packaging

Good shock absorbers for SUVs and city streets

I installed them on my 1990 Mitsubishi Montero LWB a while back. They really made the ride more difficult, which is what I needed. These aren't "racing" dampers or anything like that, but they are ideal for everyday use and light terrain. I've taken them in mud and sand and they seem worth the money spent. I'm not a fan of Rock Crawling but I'm sure they'll be decent in this case too. I would buy again. I hope they last at least 3-5 years. So far I'm very impressed with the performance/dollar.

Pros
  • Powertrain products
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
