This doggy door only fits into the screen door or window or thinner exterior door, not in a thick aluminum door or glass door. Inner door size: 12 x 16 inches; Outer frame size: 13.8 x 18 inches; must install base on the pet's height, it fit most pets, but not recommend for especially little kittens and puppies because this big door too heavy.

So far, so good! suitable for doors, gates and ramps

So far, so good! Easy installation (take door off tracks and set on floor) and the pups love it! I was afraid my big dumb pup would kill him, but he's better built than I thought!

Look for another option.

We chose this item because of its simple "window" design. It wasn't the easiest door to install and the only lock was a magnet which made the door too hard for my dog. In the future I would choose a different subject.

Poor quality - dogs

It didn't take more than a month, my dog went through normally, then the door was unlocked, it was twice, the second time the door jumped out and slammed. I wouldn't recommend this for large dogs, also I followed the instructions like this and applied high temp glue and the door still fell off and broke!

The kit does not contain glue

I opened the box and proceeded with the installation, having read the instructions in which the glue was clearly mentioned, I looked several times for the glue mentioned there. When I confirmed that nothing had arrived with my package, I contacted customer service, assuming it was an oversight. Had not. This product does not come with all materials required for installation. Cool concept but a big disappointment.

Too much hassle

I bought this dog door so I wouldn't have to spend a lot of money on a big glass insert for the dog door but now I stink I had to do it. The instructions say to use super glue at some point, but they don't account for thick screens. My screen cuts off outside light so I couldn't just snap the dog door shut. Wherever there was a protrusion I had to cut slits. Long story short, my dog bumped into the frame so many times while walking back and forth that it slowly began to loosen, so I ended up…

Finally assembled the dog door by following the instructions first (fortunately no glue applied (not included), the grille broke when my dog walked through it. Bottom line: the door needs something more brace Installed the grille in the aluminum frame at the bottom of the door, cut out a place for the flap, installed the grille and over it the dog door.Used screws to reinforce the connection between the outer panels of the frame and the aluminum grilles in between.No such (or other ) Hold…
