Great tool when it works

Works well. However, once I accidentally fell from a height of only about 3 feet. Now the accuracy is way off and the needle drops every time I try to use it. I went back to the gauge in pencil tires and I like it better.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • No instructions

Died after a few uses.

Used a few times and works well. I took it today to check a lawnmower tire and it didn't even show a reading - the tire pressure was about 12psi so it must have been. Finally put it on my truck tire that uses LT tires at about 50psi and it shows a lot less than the needle wouldn't go back to zero. It was never dropped or used with slime, no reason it should have happened. Very disappointing, buy with cation.

  • Hard wearing finish

It works, but accuracy is questionable

The sensor works and gives repeatable readings. My gauge seems to read over 1 psi too low. I based this on 3 other gauges that I read within 1psi and this one is an outlier over 1psi below. Accuracy not specified. Seems like it should be central for the sensor. There are no active questions and answers for this Revain article, so there is no easy way to get an answer. I suspect their accuracy is nothing special, but probably within a few pounds.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Extremely accurate and smaller than you think.

It is always difficult to judge how relatively large an item is just by its numerical size. I was hesitant to buy this analog tire pressure sensor without holding it in my hands, especially with the Big Face name. I'm happy to report that the device's size is perfect for the average glove box. Also, the gauge is within less than a psi of my larger professional analog tire gauge, which is excellent for a gauge at this price point. Highly recommended .

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Fair

Fantastic, accurate, durable

I've spent my whole life measuring tire pressure with digital and analog gauges that just don't work. This one makes it perfect every time. The stem connection is efficient and you don't blow half the air out before you get a reading. The needle jumps right onto the print and stays there until you press the button to release it. It's solid, superb engineering. I don't know what happened to the weird company name, but hey, as long as the products work, who cares? Highly recommended.

This is a great value tire pressure gauge from the Slime brand.

Walmart used to sell them. Bought this and have been using it for years - it matches and still uses my reference gauge and the gauge on the gas station pump. Came back to get two more for our other cars and found that Walmart now has a cheaper, smaller slime that was 4psi in one I bought. I found this model, the same one I bought many years ago, at Revain and bought two. Both agree within 1/2-1 psi (okay, this requires visual interpretation, but it's possible) of the previous and my benchmark…

  • Hard to tell

I searched and ended up with this sensor again!

Compared to what they charge for competing products this is still a bargain. I bought one of these for my oldest son a few years ago and it works great. I've noticed my middle son drives around college in his car without a gauge, it's time to buy another one. I didn't order it right away because now surely someone should make something cheaper and not worse. nope This is probably still the best, but I checked, and not just on Revain. My only additional requirement was that I wanted the gauge to

Handy little power tool

Although I always check my tires when I change my oil, I know checking the pressure once a month is good for safety and prolongs tire life. I've been using another brand (Victor) for about a year and never noticed the dial not going back to zero on release. I may have dropped it, but I have no idea how long I've been riding under-inflated tires even though they look fine and have plenty of tread. In other words, I thought I was reading 30psi when I'm actually reading 25 or less. It is best to…
