Tire is not fully inflated

This thing would be great if it worked. It is small and compact, easy to take anywhere. Unfortunately, the tire does not inflate above 25psi, which is half the advertised 50psi. It gets very hot in use and the engine will noticeably slow down as tire pressure increases. Above 20psi it barely works and at 25psi it stops completely. 25 psi will probably limp you home, so I don't throw mine away, but I'm sorry I didn't return them before the return window closed. Buy something else.

Pros
  • Alright!
Cons
  • Periodicity

For the price and what it is, it's great.

I have 3 of these, 1 for each machine. I paid about $10 each. Before buying a few, I bug tested one of them. Put it in the freezer and use it frozen, put it in the oven at 200f and use it. In both cases it worked. What really damaged the test unit was inflating to high pressure, don't use it to inflate more than 40 pounds. This is not intended for regular tire inflation. This will take a long time and eventually it will lose its ability to inflate. This is for emergencies and occasional tire…

Only for light loads Great for motorbikes but works

Great for motorbikes due to its small size but as others have pointed out you don't want to use it for very long especially on a hot day . It works for passenger cars too, but it's "upper", just turning off the TPM light for one tire is enough, but then you'll need to use something bigger for a full puncture on a normal sized tire. You can only let it run for a few minutes, then you need to let it cool down. This works for my bike with smaller tires. The gauge isn't that accurate and the needle

You should change the name of this product

They call it a booster pump but it can't. First you can only let it run 14 minutes, then you have to let it ""cool down" for 35 minutes. Here's what you get in those 14 minutes (from scratch) - inch rear tires 33psi car 19" tires 28psi It's not that bad...it really should pump air at higher pressures right? after 14 minutes it was at 35psi "prime the pump" when it takes 14 minutes to pressurize 7psi? Since then you have to let it cool down before doing the other 3 tires. You would spend half a…

Died four weeks later.

The device worked right away. There was a piece of plastic in the box that I couldn't attribute to any part of the pump. Maybe one day I'll find out where it came from. It's relatively easy to use and outperforms tires quickly. The built-in flashlight is not very convenient and makes it difficult to read the pressure gauge while pumping. The gauge is only accurate to +/-3psi, requiring the tire to be rechecked with a real gauge. I'll probably ignore the light and measure it and at least use it…

Here's what you get in those 14 minutes (from scratch) Motorcycle 19" front tire 36psi Motorcycle 17" rear tire 33psi Car 19" tire 28psi It's not that bad. Pump down, it really should be pumping out air at higher pressure right? NOT RIGHT! So after letting the pump cool for an hour, I hooked it back up to the 28psi tire. After 14 minutes it…

Great air gadget! Don't pay more for air at a gas station

This is the BEST purchase I've made in the last year. Buy this product for what it was designed to do - inflate a tire. I have constant problems with the TPMS system, which causes the warning light in the car to be on constantly - a burning exclamation mark drives me insane! It simply plugs into a car outlet and reaches any full-size sedan tire. It screws firmly onto the tire and then you can turn it on. It's a bit noisy, but this little machine needs to produce air, so the noise is certainly…

Be sure to test them before you put them in the trunk

I have three of these shoes. One melted on first use as seen in the attached photos. This doesn't necessarily mean you shouldn't buy it. It just means you have to be extremely careful when testing before storage and that this is nothing more than an emergency pump. That said, if your TPMS sensor fails in the middle of a ride, or yours fails, this pump should be of no use. This is not a reliable pump at all. Check before you store it. I hooked mine up to an air tank and pumped for 15 minutes…
