The tube does not inflate but the seller replaces it

The tube does not inflate but the seller did a good job and sent me a replacement. When these lamps work properly, they are really good.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • I won't tell

Broke on first hit.

Tube ripped midway during inflation, spattered slime on the ceiling, my hair, my wife's face, walls, rim, etc. Poor quality control - they should have found this issue on control tests.

Pros
  • Datura πŸ”₯
Cons
  • Protection

I rode the DORBA Trail at Cedar Hill State Park.

I rode this tube on the DORBA trail at Cedar Hill State Park near Dallas, after the ride I counted 17 mesquite lugs in my tire and it never deflated! If you are riding in Texas, you should consider using this cam.

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • Unfashionable

Unsuccessful second ride in tubes

There must have been some quality control issues lately. I have a set of seven year old inner tubes on one of my bikes that STILL hold air. However, I've been trying slime tubes lately and have had a couple of catastrophic failures that left me stuck in the middle of a trip. I am extremely disappointed.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Doubtful

Slime too effective

Other reviewers noted that the sealant in the tube was clogging the valve stem, which I felt was correct. I had to disassemble the valve and pierce the sealant to inflate the tire. During operation I found that the sealant had resealed the valve so I would have to disassemble the valve just to get the pressure up. I'm not sure if it's worth the effort, but there aren't any apartments yet.

Pros
  • Sturdy finish
Cons
  • Reliability

Bought two of these for my wife's bike. .

I bought two of these inner tubes for my wife's bike. When inflating one of these, the tube burst at the seam. Revain kindly replaced it immediately for free. As soon as I mounted it on the tires I found that it was leaking. I've tried patching it, but it looks like it has more holes than a screen door on a submarine. Surely it was a hassle to just put new tubes and tires on the same bike!

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • There are defects

Almost four years, 500 miles later.

I installed two of these on my bike and rode them occasionally for four years and just over 500 miles* before the valve stem broke. I think it was more because the hole in the rim was a bit sharp. I'll never even look at them, although they let air through the valve over time. The mucus inside seems to harden and keep the valve open if you're not careful. So clean it from time to time and make sure the valves aren't leaking after filling them with air. * Your mileage may vary.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Null

CAUTION: The valve stem is clogged. disassembly required.

Slime has always worked well except for this bike tube. After frustrating trial and error trying to inflate the tube, I took it off the rim, removed and replaced the valve (clogged with gunk) but still not inflated. Removed the valve and found hardened mucus on the lower part of the valve stem. After cleaning and installing a new valve, the hose will inflate. Inflate/deflate the tube first before installing it in the tire so you don't get frustrated. I haven't rated durability yet. First see…

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • Lots of things
