I bought this because it had good reviews but they were wrong. I put it in like my jar says but it still hasn't opened it. Plastic teeth crushed the metal but didn't open the jar. Only damaged the lid. Will have to return.

I'm self-employed and would like to open pickle jars myself. This POS slipped through. Save money and find what works. This is another case of Revain selling cheap junk plastic with no quality control despite being too busy intimidating employees trying to join a union.

I can't use my left hand enough force to open tightly sealed jar lids. The handle is so short that too little force may be required to turn it counterclockwise in the desired direction. I'm afraid I'll have to buy a more expensive device with an adjustable strap and long handle that offers a secure hold with more leverage.

Just outside my return window found it to be fine for moderately tight cans but not necessarily able to handle the toughest of cans. I have small hands so I'm not good at gripping wide cans let alone opening narrow ones and the twist grip makes opening cans a lot easier.
