Two layers of lotus won't stick together, it falls apart when trying to put incense sticks in it, the sticks themselves hardly stick to the holes. It just doesn't work. Not recommended at all.

Listen to the reviews that it's too small to catch ash! It's a shame because it's really beautiful. I had to rearrange the plates and somehow interlock the petals to catch the ashes, but it's not worth it.

The only reason I gave 4 stars and not 5 is because there are 2 pieces. I'm not sure why it's done that way, but the top petals are removed from the bottom petals.
