Great case. The iPod itself feels very light and delicate, and then I put this case on it and I can handle it more safely. I'm not afraid of losing my footing and dropping my iPod. I have the black version. Very cool.

We bought this case because our daughter with special needs likes to fall asleep while listening to her iPod touch 7 but she drops it. This is the third case we've tried for the iPod 7, and it turned out to be the worst. The case is too stiff to absorb shock, it simply transmits the shock to the iPod. If we ever find a winner I will update this review.

I love this case. Since my iPod Touch is blue, I bought a blue case. I like how it has a kickstand on the case. The case is comfortable to hold and is beautiful. (Today I accidentally dropped my iPod Touch outside and the case is still fine after slipping out of my hand while organizing my work items). Pros: color, hard case, stand, and price. Cons: This case has no cons.

The case is very well designed to protect your iPod. Thick and knotty, making it easier to grip and less likely to slip out of your hand when carrying. The downside is that because of this thickness, 1/8" headphone/headphone jacks that have thicker insulation all around don't always seat properly. I'm toying with enlarging the headphone hole in the case to fix this issue, but I'd like to affect the integrity of the case. This is the case's only downside.

When we received the iPod case, I couldn't open the stand. The more I tried, the plastic flexed so much I was afraid it would break. Then when I tried to remove the case, the plastic broke at one of the corners. I sent the first one back and got a replacement. I was able to open the stand on this one but it was still difficult to open. My son chose not to use the stand feature at all and just put a pop socket on it. My 11 year old son was saving for a new iPod that we were planning to use until we got a phone a few years later. I chose this case because it's cheaper than an Otterbox and claims to be durable and shockproof. As we know, kids drop phones, and it did a few times around the house, just from waist or chest height. The first time the phone wouldn't turn on for about 24 hours. I don't want to give this case a bad review because honestly it's a good case. But I bought it for my 5 year old so he can set up an old iTouch and watch cartoons on it. Please ignore their fancy descriptions. If you want a cheap cover I still wouldn't recommend it. It's not a soft inner rubber, it's basically a flexible plastic. And despite its looks, it's a thin layer of "rubber" with a piece of hard black plastic covering it. I nearly broke it trying to insert an iPod. UPDATE FOUR MONTHS LATER: The case is still a 5 star product! I dropped it a lot less than before thanks to the sculpted design meant for a secure fit. Every time it was dropped, it survived a 3-4 foot drop onto a hard surface without damaging the case or the iPod touch. I get a lot more out of the fold out stand than I thought I would.
