I used 2 playpens and made a large play area for 2 male GPPigs. I use the playground as a playground and when I need to change their main living area. I had no problem popping them out, but my boys don't jump or climb. If you have a jumper or climber like a Rabbit or a Farrite, consider a higher clearing. Easy to set up and take down. If you look around, almost all hamster playpens are only 9" tall. It's probably okay if you have a dwarf hamster, but a large hamster can easily run away before you can react. The first time we left our hamster unattended in this playpen, when we returned he was gone. We searched almost the whole house for a hamster and didn't even find a droppings. My friend who was staying the night happened to peek from behind something outside only to find our hamster was preening. Conclusion For the price this playpen is great if you have small animals and want to vent out of the cage and can't always watch them . The page should remove something about ferrets. I will be buying another one to increase the size available so my two ferrets have room to play and explore.
