The Smallrig APU2364 mounting plate actually works with both common quick connect adapters.

Bought one of the Smallrig APU2364 boards to try. Very impressive. It works with all Manfrotto quick change adapters as well as Arca modules. Ordered two more for other bodies. No more removable plates for changing tripods or heads. These blocks are also lighter (1oz vs. 2.4oz) than Manfrotto plates and can be tightened with a screwdriver, allen wrench (included) or built-in clamp ring.

Fits loose in Manfrotto, does not fit my Peak Design tripod

This is a very high quality build but it does not perform as I intended. I have Manfrotto RC2 connectors on everything I own except a Peak Design tripod. So I looked for a double mounting plate that would work for both. I bought Peak Design and they work great, but $30 is a lot for a piece of aluminum. Therefore, knowing the excellent quality of SmallRig, I hoped that this would be the solution I needed, but at a better price. Unfortunately it doesn't work in any of my PeakDesign items (tripod…

Doesn't really work with many Manfrotto heads.

I was too excited when I stumbled across this and completely forgot that Peak Design tried the same thing and ran into the same issue. There are just too many differences in how Manfrotto designs bases to grip 200PL plates. I'm sure it works for some of them, but I only got a partially useful result.
