【NEW VERSION】This is the NEW VERSION 2246B, and can ONLY work with NEW VERSION cage 2203B, CVB2254B and CVB2255B, can NOT work with OLD VERSION cage 2203, CVB2254 and CVB2255. 【HIGH CUSTOMIZATION】The cable clamp is exclusively designed for SMALLRIG BMPCC 4k & 6k cage that works with Blackmagic design pocket cinema camera 4k & 6k. 【LOCKING TIGHTLY】The clamp attaches to the side of the cage with two 1/4”-20 knob screws, securing both the HDMI and USB-C cable by tightening two sliding blocks. 【HIGH PROTECTION】The cable protector is used to prevent HDMI&USB-C cable from being collision or broken, make data transmission more stable. It works for what was designed.

Perfectly protects the USB and HDMI ports of my BMPCC 4K. Don't risk damaging your camera connectors with an accidental push. These accessories should already be included when you buy the cage.

DOES NOT FIT CAGE 2419!

Be careful when you buy the Smallrig cage 2419 do not buy this attachment. You need version 2203 for this clip to work. The drilled holes don't match the clamp and you'll lose $20 trying to get product for a cage that isn't clear.

Hanging out all the time

This thing works and doesn't work. It securely holds HDMI and USBC cables. But those damn screws loosen all the time. I have to keep catching up. And I leave the cords plugged in since the outlets are so weak. I also want the power cord to be taut as I also have cord issues. I think it's average.

CHECK THE CAGE MODEL, THEY WILL NOT FIT OLD CAGES

Great quality and seems like a really good product. 2 stars because they don't fit in older cages. Too bad I couldn't find an older version here on Amazon. Now I have the old cage but no old cable clamp. I guess I'll have to update the cage myself. Which makes me feel like they will do the same with their current products, making them not a worthwhile investment in the long run.

Waste of money and time!

I have never written a review on a product I have purchased even if they say it is terrible. The clip does not fit the holes it was designed for. Now I know I have an older version of the cage, but they should have left the old version available for those who need it if they (small rig) think I need a new cage just to accommodate this clamp, might I might as well buy a tilt cage with works and shut up, terrible product! Waste of time and money! I do not understand it!

However, it does what it has to do.

Firstly, this is a high quality finish and does its job well. I bought this for a Black Magic 4K Half Cage Pocket Movie Camera. Holds up great but if you have this camera you know the battery that comes with it won't charge with a standard Canon charger even if it's an lpe6n style. Connecting the camera to power isn't a problem, but unplugging the power cord isn't possible without fully unplugging it due to the power cord's spring-loaded latch. Gets bored easily.
