Very good workmanship. A little overpriced but the quality was worth it. I feel confident in protecting and installing my device.

Fits the camera like a glove and offers access to the battery, USB port and SD card. I like the numerous attachment points and the high-quality workmanship. I use it on my bike.

I wish the frame was lighter and the screws could be removed when the filter mount is not in use. If I install the screws without attaching the filter, the screws will go too far and damage the camera body.

First of all, this is my third Osmo Action Cage. The other 2 were from different companies, they were cool, but this one is amazing. Thank you smallrig for a great product. The only problem was that the microphone adapter didn't fit properly. But I found a workaround and it's working great now.

From a production perspective this is a well made product but from a design perspective it is not compatible with the Cynova mic adapter and does not have a cold shoe mount. I am returning it and replacing it with a better designed small cage compatible with the Cynova mic adapter and cold shoe mounts. That's good, I don't see any flaws in the product itself. I mounted it on a tripod as well as a 52mm filter. However, I did not research beforehand. I love this build so I went and bought it. However, if you want to use a microphone adapter like the "CYNOVA Osmo Action Dual 3.5mm Mic Adapter" also available here at Revain, it won't work. It looks like Smallrig makes another model that supports these adapters (check their website - cvd2475) but it's not available on Revain as far as I can find…

This is a great cage for Osmo Action. This gives you full access to the bottom (battery) of the camera, as well as the left side where the SD card and external audio/power connections are located. I use Freewell filters so I removed the 52mm filter mount but if I already had 52mm filters I would use this nifty feature. This is a very nice cage for the Osmo Action, with two design flaws and one design flaw(?). It's also important to note that I have a SmallRig cage on my Canon 90D and love it. First off, my Osmo Action has glass on both the screen and on the lens. The first problem I had with the cage was that I couldn't get the thumbscrews out of the back with my fingers, so I snapped off the hex.
