📸 SmallRig Vlogging Mounting Plate Pro for Nikon Z50 Camera - LCN2667 SEO-Optimized Version Review

This is exactly what I was looking for. I can now use a mini tripod to hold the camera at arm's length and still see the display's flip screen.

Works great with the Z50 and allows the screen to be rotated. Smallrig makes great products without spending a fortune. The model allows you to change the battery on the Z50 with the plate attached.

Great mounting plate. It is very convenient that you can open the battery cover without removing the mounting plate. If you're stuck between the regular version and the "Pro" version, do yourself a favor and get the Pro version. It costs a few dollars extra. I learned it the hard way.

Great except for the fact that they mount the hot shoe on the same side you hold the camera so I find it difficult to shoot with items attached. As I plan to use it with other baits I returned it and went with a competitor Ulanzi and UURig. Other than that, it's great. Unfortunately, neither Ulanzi nor Small Rig provide instructions on how to remove the battery cover and attach it to the product, but I found a YouTube video that helped me. Enjoy

It's great made but I'm having some issues with its design. This is my subjective opinion. This new version seems a bit restrictive compared to the previous version. Now you only have 2x 1/4" taps on the underside to take the battery cover. Here's the problem. If you mount it on a tripod, you have to unscrew something to get to the battery compartment.
