SMALLRT Extension Protector Overload Protection Review

So in my new home office there was only one socket for the whole room. I have bought this surge protector for all my computers, printers, stereos, lights, shredders and phones. Thanks to the very long cord, I was able to stretch it across the room so I could connect all my stuff. It's perfect! I like the easier disable feature when I want to disable everything without disabling things.

Very easy to use! It has 8 sockets and 4 USB ports. I've been looking for something that has USB jacks so I can charge my earbuds and it works. The design is also smart. It has two switches that control the top and bottom of the jacks - you'll have to experiment a few times to figure out which controls which part. Please note the material is plastic but I find adequate strength.

We love it. There are both plugs and USB plugs, so any secretary who uses this desk can use it. I use it for my laptop while other admins use it for mobile phones, tablets etc. It is very nice. The only thing I've had trouble with is that every now and then it hangs when trying to turn off the power (there's a link at the top that determines what power is used). In general we like it.

Update (5-3-21): Support contacted me and sent me a replacement that works much better. All sockets plug in easily if you hold the base stationary (meaning you have to use two hands or press it against something). First Review: May be strange to me but I find it very difficult to connect anything to this extension cord. I have to press VERY hard to insert the plug into the socket (except for the two sockets on the front). Otherwise everything seems to be working fine.

In my basement, the only outlets are on the ceiling, which is cumbersome and inconvenient to plug in. It's absolutely perfect because it has a nice long cord and because of its cubic size I can plug in a lot of items without wasting space. I routed the cables across the ceiling, put them on a shelf and now I can easily connect and disconnect them. This is a very high quality desktop surge protector. One of the most important features is that the sockets are spaced far apart, so all sockets are accessible. It annoys me that they are so close that you actually lose half of them. It also has four USB inputs, which is nice as many products no longer come with adapters. I use this in my bedroom where there is a charger, tv and now a baby monitor and I had to keep unplugging to connect everything. It's great - better than the regular bar as it takes up less space behind my TV so I can hide all the plugs. Out of sight out of mind. I use this product for my office. Use this product to easily connect multiple computers and gaming PCs. This is a great product - way better than the regular strip. I've never seen a 15ft surge protector extension code. I can connect several devices at the same time via 8 sockets and easily charge my cell phone with the USB charger.
