Lantern is nice. Unfortunately the timer function does not work. It never turns off like it should. I see other buyers had the same problem. Luckily the on/off feature works. However, I bought this because I was looking for one with a timer. According to the description, CC batteries are required. Not correct! Requires AA. I would give more stars if it works properly. Reduce the price.

Mine arrived later with broken glass on the door. Luckily I can take the jar out and it still looks nice because I can't order another one because it's out of stock. I also think that it does not contain batteries and the spark plug is screwed in, which does not allow for easy insertion of new batteries. Although it's cute. I wish Amazon couriers were more careful, this is the second time this has happened to me!

This is a very attractive flashlight but not intended for continuous outdoor use. I use it outside but after about six months in sun and rain it's showing its age. I don't expect this to be much longer than another six months and I live in the balmy Southeast. I'm guessing in the Northeast they won't survive the harsh winter weather. They look great, but are not designed for long-term outdoor use. However, they are very attractive lights indeed. Oh, and by the way, my flashlight uses two AA…

This is VERY nice and fairly solid in size - be sure to keep the dimensions in mind as it may not fit in some places. The candle goes with it and it is sufficient. I have this lantern on the console table in the hallway and on the opposite side of the console are some fake candles that I bought separately. If both candles are lit you can tell that it is a defective candle as it is clearly wrong. Still, it's great, and since it has a timer setting, it's perfect. It turns on at the same time…
