Very attractive flashlight

This is a very attractive flashlight but not intended for continuous outdoor use. I use it outside but after about six months in sun and rain it's showing its age. I don't expect this to be much longer than another six months and I live in the balmy Southeast. I'm guessing in the Northeast they won't survive the harsh winter weather. They look great, but are not designed for long-term outdoor use. However, they are very attractive lights indeed. Oh, and by the way, my flashlight uses two AA batteries, not C batteries.
