Cordfree 24" x 48" floor alarm mat means there is no alarm noise in patient's room. When floor mat is stepped on, a signal is sent to the alarm monitor which has a radius of up to 150โ€™ โ€“ 300โ€™. Place the floor pressure mat by the side of the bed or across a doorway so you will know when they are trying to get up or leave a room. Alarm features three volume levels and an on/off switch. Approximately 5" tall and uses 3 'C' batteries. But to reduce the amount of batteries you will use for your alarm, you might wish to purchase an AC-04 adapter for this alarm unit. Reset the floor mat alarm using the โ€œoffโ€ button on the alarm monitor.

Great Cordless Mat for Industrial and Scientific Settings!

This cordless mat is perfect for my lab! Based on my experience, it is effective at alerting me when someone steps on it, preventing accidents and injury. The mat's durable construction ensures it'll hold up against wear and tear. One downside is that it can be a bit pricey compared to other options, but it's definitely worth the investment for a safer work environment.

A real lifesaver. Literally

My wife is recovering from a serious head injury (bleeding in the skull around the brain) after a recent fall. After the fall, she was disoriented, confused and unsteady while walking. This rug literally saved me. Along with myself and our eight children who live nearby and their spouses, we provided 24/7 care for them. With this mat, not only can we monitor her getting out of bed during the day, but we can sleep peacefully at night knowing that she is IMMEDIATELY touching this mat, we areโ€ฆ

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT! The only reason I gave one star is because I would not be allowed to post my review without a star rating and there was no zero star rating. I ordered this rug to use by my elderly mother's bedside so I know if she's going to get up. Please note that this product does not match the description. I've never written a product review, but this one seemed important to me. This product is literally thin and light as a feather. I'm only writing this because I don't want anyone
